Topics include Railway, Maritime, non-Australian canceled on arrival (Hong Kong, Dutch Indies), Military cancels (including GB KGVI 5/ block of 4 with Aust. Army PO 214), Late Fee, Relief cancellers, Special - Sydney, Letter Carrier, Mail Room, Parcels, etc. A few pre-1913 stamps included.

Includes 1d red engraved block of 8, 2d brown-orange Harrison imprint pair; 1½d Small Multi Mullett imprint (pair) and Ash imprint block of 8, group of Small Multi ½d - 4d Ash blocks of 4 and C of A ½d - 1/4 Ash imprint, 2 blocks of the 1/4. Many better including KGV 3d with double oval San Francisco Ferry applied on arrival. Also includes 7 interesting covers with Thursday Island, Coen, Queensland "by Packhorse Mail," Port Arthur and Croydon Park, the latter to Minnesota, etc. An excellent group for the cancellation aficionado. Australia, Holding, collection/accumulation in 11 albums & stockbooks, large envelopes and folders, covering the Roos and KGV through the modern era, early is extensive but primarily very fine used and with many better shades, printings and cancels and unchecked for printing flaws, hundreds of dollars of mint more modern and quite complete until the 2000's, there are some more modern plate flaws, plate number studies, multiples, stamp packs (including some earlier better ones), booklets, etc.; nice lot that must be properly viewed.

Australia, KGV//QEII Collection, of plate blocks, blocks of 4, booklet panes, coils, the odd plate flaw, inverted watermarks, interpanneau blocks all presented in mounts on album pages starting with 1d KGV engraved plate 2 block of 8 and including 2d Small Multi booklet pane with inverted watermark, 2d Kingsford Smith plate blocks, 3d Sydney Bridge plate blocks 1-4 and 1-3 duplicates, 1929 Air Mail plate blocks plates 1-4 and same, booklet pane. Also 1955 Friendship Memorial corner margin block of 4 signed "Frank D. Manley/Designer-Engraver". Much NH. F-VF throughout.

Extends into the Commonwealth period with many Kangaroos and KGV heads and later issues to the 1935 Silver Jubilee.
