Blackman, Down Freight Agent", slightly reduced, adhesive large margins including sheet margin, hint of light toning, cover slightly reduced at left & lightly folded, Very Fine, an extremely scarce overpaid 2¢ drop rate cover (overpaid by 8¢), ex-Karrer.

Both the Middleton and Huger families were prominent in South Carolina.
