Hawaii, 1866, King Kamehameha V, 5¢ blue, manuscript canceled and tied by target handstamp on 1867 cover to Old Lyme, Ct., in combination with U.S. 1863, 5¢ brown (76) tied by "San Francisco, Cal., Aug 10" cds and target duplex, bold red "Honolulu, U.S. Postage Paid, Jul 13" cds; cover missing backflap and abrasions at top left and bottom right, Fine; with 2001 P.F. certificate.

SL #3, 1RRRR), purple "San Francisco, Cal., Registered, Mar 21, 1879" date stamp, reverse with portion of registry label and docketed from Brewer & Co.; cover with file fold at left and 18¢ with small flaws, Very Fine, with the Honolulu "Registered" straight line handstamp is recorded on only two covers, ex-Meyer & Advertiser; with 2007 P.F. certificate.
