Back-of-the-Book Collection, 1885-2012, mostly mint collection in mounts in an album, main highlights including mint NH Scott #C1-2, C4-6, C13-15 VF Zeppelins, E3 etc., used including #E1-11, Q1-12 etc., also nice Vending and Affixing coils with Brinkerhoff Type 1 #408 and 409 NH strips of four, U.S. Auto Vending Type 1 #343 NH strip of four, and several others, test coils and some modern imperf errors such as #2112a NH strip of five, plus some possessions Canal Zone, Hawaii and Philippines, cut squares, precancels and Cinderellas, owner's Scott $5000+, overall fine to very fine.Estimate $800 - 1,200.

United States Back-Of-The-Book Collection, mint in hingeless Scott Platinum album pages. Includes Airmails, Special Deliveries, Postage Dues, Officials, Newspapers, Parcel Post, and Hunting Permits, early stamps are usually hinged original gum, with some no gum or regummed stamps included, collector was more concerned about the face of the stamp, so careful inspection should be made for gum condition, faults, thins and tears, and proper paper identification, Airmails are essentially complete from #C1-#C131, #C13-15 Zeppelins are present and #C14 has no gum, Special Deliveries are complete, Postage Dues are an almost complete selection of the regular issues to J101, with some of the earlies noted for no gum or regummed stamps. The Duck Hunting Permits are complete from RW1-RW59, and the RW1-RW40 stamps are almost all without gum, Officials are a beautiful group, with row after row of lovely pastel colored stamps. A 1983 Philatelic Foundation certificate accompanies the $10 State Dept. issue, #O70, which is genuine and with original gum (cat. $4500), there are about 75 or so Newspaper stamps, with 7 of the 8 large early issues and a good showing of the rest of these attractive stamps; careful inspection is needed.Estimate $5,000 - 7,500.
