1908, 1¢ green, D.L. watermark, Schermack type III perfs, with control perfin, 9-hole control perfin missing pins 2 & 8 - Perfin Catalog 90-13 - neatly tied by a 1910 Detroit, Mich. machine cancel on a promotional postcard from the Anti-Saloon League entitled "Prohibition and Divorce"; remarkably fresh and clean, Extremely Fine.

1909, 5¢ blue, D.L. watermark, vertical coil, pair, tied by Chicago ovals on registered cover to New York, affixed registry slip with red "Chicago, Ill., Registered, Oct. 6, 1909" cds; bottom stamp with the barest hint of a corner crease at bottom right, Very Fine, a rare usage with the pair which properly paid 2¢ for postage and 8¢ for registration, an early usage with the EKU being June 16, 1909; with 1989 P.F. & 2022 P.S.E. certificates.
