Confederacy, 1862, 5¢ light blue, De La Rue printing, margin single affixed to stationery of Central National Bank, Norwalk Ct, dated June 6, 1863 with a very interesting note that reads… Dear Willis, I enclose a genuine 5¢ Confederate postage stamp - it came direct from a man who escaped from the Rebel lines in a woman.s costume, I hope 'twill add one to your collection. Yours very truly, Herb, a fascinating piece of history.
