US Wrappers, fascinating collection of about 150+ US Wrappers, most W301 and some W357, all used, with many unusual foreign destinations, various transit markings, and with additional stamps of the period (1890-1920s) added. Almost 100 are to foreign destinations, with many rare, including. Sumatra, Turkey, Russia, Borneo, Montenegro, Luxembourg, Turks Island, Haiti, China, etc. Many have printed ads, including W. S. Cleveland's Monster Minstrels, Nurseries, Pikes Peak News, medical colleges, Yum-Yum tobacco, a matching pair of Sanitarium ads, for males and females, in Skowhegan, ME, stamp dealers, brewing academy, etc. Additional stamps including Columbians (2c, 3c, 4c, Sc, and pair of 1 Oc to Saxony), and Trans-Miss. (1c, 2c, 4c, Sc.), also pair of #303 on Reg'd wrapper to Argentina with NY Registry label. Also one to England with purple boxed "Saved From the Wreck of the S.S. Eider." Also one with added label "Four More Years of the Full Dinner Pail," for McKinley's 1900 campaign. Most unusual.Estimate $1,000 - 1,500.
