1852, 1¢ blue, type IV, Position 89R1L, showing break in frameline at bottom, recut once at top, circular grid cancels, enormous margins encompassing significant portion of adjacent stamps, bold color, printing anomaly not mentioned in certificate (see story text), a Superb jumbo gem, this position showing this late plate stage break was described in Neinken "89R1L - An Oddity" on page 129, accompanied by an earlier printing example of position 89R1L showing bottom frameline complete, ex-Ishikawa; with 1978 P.F. & 2021 P.S.E. certificates, the latter Graded (XF-Sup 95J, SMQ $800).
