Andorra (Spanish), 1838 letter from St. Julia. Tiny folded letter to Llanes & Sons with "San julia" dateline and "St. Julia" docketing, no postal markings as to this day all internal mail is carried without charge, Very Fine, an extremely rare early usage.

At this time, it is believed that internal mail was carried by the next person going in the appropriate direction.

Postmarked with "Rosario" double circle postmark & franked with Great Britain 1858-69 2d blue + 1873-80 3d rose strip of 4 tied in transit by "Buenos Aires" cds & London numeral "70" barred oval with red London cds at top, two different San Francisco postmarks, Argentina 1c used on reverse to seal flap tied by San Francisco instructional handstamp and turned up for display, original enclosure included, Extremely Fine.
