Magnus patriotic civil war song-lettersheets. A wonderful group of over 350 items, virtually all produced by C. Magnus & hand-colored, however some other publisher's are present, included is 7 used lettersheets (two with covers), also included is 2 Magnus "Song Books" of 6 songs each, the pictorial designs include many that were also used on patriotic envelopes & some that were used exclusively on songsheets, designs include portraits, battle scenes, camp scenes, city views, state seals, patriotic figures, etc. A few of the sheets (approximately 20%) have been trimmed at the bottom, not affecting song or design, a great lot for the specialist.

Military maps (Magnus). 10 very unusual (6 different) unused patriotic covers showing military maps with allover handcolored designs, maps printed separately and affixed to covers which extend to the reverse, two with same design showing Magnus imprint, one titled "The Southern Coast between Ft. Monroe & New Orleans showing all the Forts and Inlets under blockade.", some minor wrinkling due the map affixing, Very Fine, very rare.
