Neat strike of "Paid 10" over tiny "5" handstamp on Cannon, 12-Star Flag and Verse patriotic cover to Black Spring N.C. with neat "Wentworth N.C. Nov. 15" circular datestamp & manuscript "10 Paid" at top right, "Wentworth N.C. Apr. 14" control mark on back, fresh and Very Fine, this is the only reported example of this postmaster's provisional, unlisted in Scott or Crown, listed in Dietz, ex-Haas and Myerson.
