Vertical strip of three, tied by Gilman, Ill. town postmarks on cover to North Wilbraham, Mass., stamps with perfs nibbed at right from overlapping cover, Fine, an extremely rare 1851 1¢, type Ia combination on cover, Scott cat $8,000 for single type Ia on cover; with 1977 P.F. certificate.

1857, 1¢ blue, type II. Vertical strip of three, tied by "Saint Paul, M.T., Feb 15, 1858" cds's on cover to Poughkeepsie, N.Y., cover edges at left and bottom folded back, F.-V.F., a rare usage from Minnesota territory.

1857, 1¢ blue, type V, horiz strip of five and pair + 3¢ dull red. All tied by "Nevada City, Cal., Aug 3, 1858" cds's on 10¢ Nesbitt entire to Virginia, stamp faults and cover wear including small pinhole and tear at bottom, missing backflap, Fine, still a very rare double rate usage.
