Afghanistan 19th century back of the book. Grouping of unidentified unused 'Revenues' in imperf panes of 10 and 26, incorporating 72 stamps, the smaller blocks with the larger stamps which show an engraving of a gateway or fort amongst the Arabic script, the two larger panes appearing to be interpanneau strips. Attractive and evocative material.

Afghanistan 1872-73 issue plate reconstruction. Plate A with outer ornaments, Shahi dated "1290" on medium laid paper, partial plate reconstruction including multiples which overlap (position 4, 5, 7 and 15), missing only position 11 to complete, Extremely Fine for this.
