Blue oval handstamp on 1870 6¢ Reay entire to London, England, additionally franked with Canada 1868 6¢ yellow brown tied by blue "For Great Britain and Ireland" handstamp, black company frank and "Via Puget Sound" endorsement below, red New York and London transit cds's, small expertly repaired cover nick and missing backflap, Extremely Fine, a very rare transcontinental express usage.

Wells Fargo y Cia. Express, Guaymas, Mex., Dic 13, 1887. Purple handstamp on oversized cover to Paris, France, reverse with seven Mexico 20c green frank entire overlapping paste-up canceled with date stamp, front franked with 1882 10¢ brown, re-engraved, horiz strip of 4 tied by cork cancels, matching "Benson, Ariz, Dec. 15, 1887" cds below, cover edge wrinkling and wear, Fine, a very rare express usage.
