Mostly large oversized margins (top margin expertly added), paying the inland postage on 1846 folded letter sheet to New York, tied by red "London Paid, May 18, 1846" cds, manuscript "1/" rate and red "7" handstamp for U.S. postage, Extremely Fine and choice, a magnificent early transatlantic usage; with 1997 D. Brandon certificate. SG No. 8.

Great Britain, Mulready Letter Sheet, 1840, 1d black. Used in Aug. 1840 and very much re-directed London to Monkton, forwarded to Lymington, Yarmouth, Blandford, Milburnthorpe, Yeovil and Sherbourne, numerous markings including red boxed "Missent to Blandford" handstamp, letter sheet with printed advertising for Life & Fire Assurance Co., Very Fine, in remarkable condition given its voyage.
