Zeppelin overprint + 300r definitive tied by "Recife May 28" Zeppelin cachet postmark, cover forwarded to Pernambuco and received by U.S. Navy Capt Shoemaker and returned to Naval Air Station with date stamp of July 29th on reverse, Very Fine, a very unusual mixed usage. Full margins, tied by manuscript cancels on 1852 folded letter sheet to New York, in combination with 1851, 3¢ brownish carmine (clear to large margins) tied by neat grid cancel with matching "Baltimore, Md., Aug 19" cds at center, Extremely Fine, a choice Baltimore carrier usage; with 2000 P.F. certificate.
