Slightly cut in, tied by "Albany, N.Y." cds on 1854 cover to Paris with matching "Paid 5" handstamp at left, various markings include small oval company handstamp of City Bank/Paid/Albany, red "New York Br. Pkt" with British transit & French entry & due markings on front & back, Very Fine, a rare usage with the 5¢ rate paid with the 3¢ adhesive & 2¢ in cash.
