Mix of over 100 covers and cards, from early stampless to civil war issue, including 1845 departmental front receipt booklet and other official mail, 1856, 8r quarter used as 2r, 1880's bisect, railroad, good foreign destinations, some stamps including mint 1890-95 10c pair imperf between, etc., F.-V.F (no photo).

Mexico, 1854-78 stampless official cover balance. 12 folded letters and cover fronts; many with eagle official seal handstamps including usages from Palmillas, Jilotepic, Tula, Zacatecas, also military mail, S.N.R. front to Vera Cruz from Tamaulipas with "53" rate handstamp, colonial, etc.; clear readable postmarks throughout, F.-V.F (no photo).

Mexico, 1856-61 Hidalgo issue collection. Hundreds of stamps and over a dozen covers mostly mounted on pages in album; includes sections of Mexico with high values and 1867 gothic overprints, Durango with good varieties, Guadalajara with on piece bisects, #9 cover, few Lerma, strong section of Puebla, Tampico & Vera Cruz, Queretaro, etc., including bisect usages on cover, multiples and a nice range of postmarks throughout; well worth careful examination (no photo).

Mexico, 1856-1861, ½r-4r Issues. A nice lot of 122 stamps from both issues, most different district overprints with a wide variety of cancels, including 2r Blue Green (fine), many copies have four margins note large copies of #1, 2, 3a Cordova on emerald, 4, 6, including 6 copies of #4 but none of #9, plus 4 bisects on piece with MEPSI certs., 8r quadrisect (2) 1 with Mepsi cert. a few damaged, a nice lot for the specialist, F.-V.F. overall.

Mexico, 1856-61 Hidalgo issues, plate flaws. 18 stamps with 2 pairs and on cover; 5 examples of 1r, plate 5 incomplete right side including pair, 1r inverted 4r impression in pair, scrolls incomplete and doubled, double impression in upper label in ¼r blue, 1861 2r with hairline loop in upper label and scroll doubled on cover; mixed condition, Fine.
