Uruguay, 1866, 5c blue. Lot of 7 folded covers all with various frankings of the 5c, five with single, one with two singles & one with three singles (one stamp missing shading under Horse), various postmarks & condition, Fine, please inspect.

Uruguay, 1866, 5c blue. Two folded letters from Montevideo franked with 5c single to Buenos Aires, first used in 1866 with 5 "CENTECIMO" variety, second used in 1869, both cancelled by barred oval cancel & with four large margins, Extremely Fine and choice.

Uruguay, 1866, 10c yellow green, bisect. Two folded covers (1866, 1868) each franked with 10c Bisect, 1 datelined Fray Bentos with bisect tied (not over cut) by blue boxed "Franca" handstamp, other on folded letter from Mercedes tied by oval grid, F.-V.F.

Uruguay, 1866-67, 10c green. Lot of 7 folded letter, three envelopes & two fronts, all but one franked with 10c single (one of the fronts franked with pair), all but two addressed to France, one folded letter addressed to Italy with Italian Postage Dues 10c + 60c + 1L applied & tied by Genova cds (10c & 60c creased), one of the folded letter to France appears to have 10c with Imperf. Vertical Perforations, one cover torn, overall Very Fine.

Uruguay, 1866-67, 10c green. Tied by light strike of Diamond grid & small Montevideo double circle postmark on 1875 cover to Italy with Italian 1L Postage Due tied on arrival by Genova cds, markings in French Packet Montevideo Paq. Fr. J octagon, & rare blue boxed Accountancy marking, "F. *56" handstamp at bottom right, Very Fine, a very rare item for the specialist.

A lovely lot including mint & used singles, Plate Reconstructions, Proofs, etc., nice variety of cancels & shades, included is four Reprint Sheets from the Pacific Philatelic Society with 1915 letter of explanation from Henry Phillips, plate reconstruction of the 20 types of the 20c Imperf. (19 mint & one used), a page from the Burrus collection showing 5 mint sets of the Perforated Issue, plus much more, plate & perf. varieties, plus much more, a great lot for study, please inspect (no photo).
