Manuscript overall "From His Royal Majesty Old Abe Lincoln, The Rail Splitting Candidate Who Cannot Be Elected in 1860" ornate slogan on reverse of cover to Newport, R.I., franked with 1857, 3¢ dull red tied by red "Steamer Perry" circular steamboat postmark (Milgram 1089), Very Fine and choice, a wonderful hand drawn campaign propaganda design in combination with this scarce steamboat postmark.
