Margins in places, crisp bright color, tied by red grid cancel on a folded letter sheet from Boston (matching red cds at right) to New York, part of address panel cut and and replaced, otherwise F.-V.F., quite scarce as only 5 recorded used from Boston; with 1986 P.F. certificate.

New York, N.Y., 1845, 5¢ black on bluish. Horiz. pair (Pos. 4-5), large margins except just in at right, tied by magenta pen cancel on an 1846 folded letter sheet to Ohio, with red "New York Nov 17" cds and red "Paid" in arc, Very Fine, unusually clean and neat.

Elect Hon Alpheus Felch/Michigan", Extremely Fine, a rare cover with two unsigned singles.
