Top margin plate block of 10, o.g., never hinged, nicely centered throughout, bright vivid color, some perf separations in selvage and bottom left stamp with tiny perforation tip thin of little to no consequence, Extremely Fine, a magnificent 19th century plate block rarity and the finest known plate block of the 1899, 50¢ orange in existence (Scott catalog $12,500 for a hinged plate block of six); with 1993 P.F. certificate.
