Bold strike in red of large oval handstamp on 1853-55 3¢ Red Nesbitt entire to Carroll, Hoy & Co. in New Orleans, light strike of "New Orleans La. Apr. 14, 1860" circular datestamp with matching straight line "Steam" handstamp, slightly reduced at left, Very Fine and attractive, a scarce packet marking. Milgram No. 357.
