1883 New Orleans, La., Exposition. Nice strike of exposition cds and duplex killer tying 1883, 2¢ red brown on cover to Notre Dame, Ind., with original enclosure regarding the exposition: "Government has loaned three hundred thousand dollars to the Exposition and I think it will eventually take the management into its hands and they will then be able to make it a financial success. It is a success in every other respect"; stamp with faint corner crease, otherwise Very Fine.

1901 McKinley Assassination covers. 6 exposition postmark covers franked with 1¢ Pan-Am's and mourning post card to Germany; multicolored Bison on Globe cover posted the day President McKinley was shot (Sep. 6, 1901), three unaddressed portrait covers posted the day after shooting, one hand painted by Tom Mueller (non-contemporary), two postmarked the day of death, one portrait and other unaddressed, F.-V.F.

1901 Pan-American Exposition. 1¢ Pan-American tied by "Buffalo, N.Y., Jun 01" machine exposition cancel (date slug removed) on oversized multicolored illustrated Wagner Typewriter Co. exposition cover showing a wonderful lithographed View of Niagara Falls, addressed (by typewriter) to Aurora, Ill., Extremely Fine, a exceptionally choice example, considered to be one of the most spectacular Exposition covers ever produced.
