Clearly-defined grill, few short perfs at bottom not mentioned on accompanying certificate, tied by large grid and by "New-York Nov. 22" circular datestamp on Warehouse illustrated corner card cover to Plattsburg N.Y., missing small part of top flap, lovely Very Fine appearance, scarce and attractive usage of the 3¢ C Grill, with 1991 P.F. certificate.

Tied by geometric fancy cancel on yellow 1868 cover with patent medicine corner card, postmarked "New-York Jan. 11" (1868) circular datestamp to Carlisle Penn., docketing at left, well centered stamp lifted and hinged in place, minor perf toning, visible on reverse only, Very Fine and choice.

Jun. 17" and "Carrier Jun. 17" circular datestamps on locally addressed cover, handstamped with "Albany Hardware Co." handstamped corner card, cover with couple staple holes at left & one single toned perf tip at top left, Very Fine, scarce Albany carrier usage; with 2003 P.F. certificate.

Cancelled by blue geometric fancy cancel and tied by matching "New York City Mar. 26" circular datestamp on Mercantile Library corner card cover to local address, stamp defective at top right probably from separating, otherwise Fine; with 1986 P.F. certificate incorrectly describing this as Scott 87, the horizontal grill ridges are quite evident and corrected 2004 P.F. certificate.

May 9" circular datestamp, small stain at bottom edge, 3¢ tiny faults in top left corner, overall Very Fine, a very scarce usage, ex Van Dyke.
