Approximately 400 stamps and 22 covers mounted on annotated display pages; complete basic mint issues with additional mint and used shades, official complete mint and used sets, comprehensive postmark study on various issues including on cover, sections of Prussia including colored cancels with scarce blue boxed Schulitz and red Bremen on 7kr official, railway and station cancels including the scarce Bavarian railway tombstone, horseshoe cancels, Reinland province & Saxony with on cover usages, rare 1868 3-color franking usage Westbaden to Monterey, Mexico via Southampton and Tambico, Hannover, Thurn & Taxis, etc.; exceptional quality throughout with town strikes hand-selected for choice strikes, overall Very Fine.

Well over 350 stamps and 44 franked covers mounted on display pages; a comprehensive postmark study with sections including Posen province, Braunschweig, foreign destination covers in Bremen to U.S. and 1868 3-color franking to Sweden, Frankfurt to Paris, etc., stamp section of Reich forerunners, Brandenburg, Pommern with nice selection of covers, Reinland province, Schlesien province, east & west Prussian, Westfalen, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Stelitz, Schleswig-Holstein, various Thurn & Taxis principalities, etc.; a wonderful collection of postmarks with clear town name strikes the rule, Very Fine.

Oldenburg, 1831-67 Oldenburg Exhibition Collection. Over 80 stamps and 25 covers mounted on display pages; including a few early stampless usages from Cloppenburg and Oldenburg, complete used 4-margin 1852-55 issues with additional shades and including two 1/3sgr black on green singles (one one piece) and an additional 4-margin single usage on 1857 circular, 1859 Second issues (all 4 margins) including 1/3g unused and used with large margins, 1g with better shades, 2g mint and used and 3g used singles including the "OlBenburg" error (1952 RPS cert.), select 1861 issues (again all 4 margin) including the rare used ¼g orange tied by blue Apen boxed date stamp on piece (with 1949 Friedl cert.), as well as other issues represented in both mint and used condition, selection of better issues on cover highlighted by large margin 1859 2g black on rose tied on immaculate cover to Hannover by sharp "Zwishenahn" boxed date stamp (ex Rothschild, signed Bloch, Friedl, Wien, 1994 Brettl cert.), 1861 1g blue & 3g yellow singles on separate covers, etc., selection of mint and used 1862 & 1867 Coat of Arms issues including some shades and postmark variety, few on cover, North German Confederation issues used in Oldenburg, cut square stationery and some forgery reference; a wonderful collection of these issues with condition far above what is normally encountered, Very Fine and choice.
