First printing, in combination with 2r black on green, 2nd printing, on mourning cover to Colima, tied by "Guadalajara, Marzo, 17, 1867" oval handstamp, cover reduced at left with tear into 2r and some cover erosion, Fine, less than 10 singles of 1r black on dark blue known and only three known examples on cover, a world class rarity, only one other on cover cover usage has been offered in public auction in the last 10 years, ex Gutierrez, Dr. Gene Scott, O. Rodriguez; with 2002 MEPSI certificate.

Guadalajara, 1867, 2r black on green, diagonal bisect used as 1r. Second printing, in combination with 2r black on green single, tied on front to Guadalajara by circular C. Guzman handstamp, Very Fine, bisects came about due to shortage of smaller denominations which lasted for only a short period of time, to remedy the situation, the Ciudad Guzman postmaster created these splits using 2r and 4r stamps on hand, with only three to four combinations of bisects and full stamps are known, ex Dr Gene Scott, Gutierrez, O. Rodriguez; with 1999 MEPSI certificate.
