Martin, Company F 45th Regiment NC Volunteers, a physician who served instead as the Asst. Commissary of Subsistence (short bio enclosed), light cover staining along left side, F.-V.F.

Feb. 14, manuscript postmark on turned cover franked with 1863 10¢ blue (large even margins) with manuscript cancel, nice Military address, reverse franked with 1863 10¢ blue tied by "Orange C.H., Va." cds addressed to Leaksville, N.C., cover with only one flap, F.-V.F.

Postmaster's Provisional (one sign by Dietz with notes), towns include Rocky Mount, Tarboro, Clinton, Kinston, Concord, Greenville, Yanceyville (red), Ashville, Raleigh, Fayetteville, Mocksville, Townsville, etc., generally in very nice condition, worth inspection.
