Mexico, 1856, ½r-8r First Issue collection. On exhibition pages; 99 stamps, 7 covers (including one with a strip of 4 of Sc#1) and 1 front. Excellent quality throughout, mostly post-office fresh. Includes several multiples, 2r emeralds, many first plates 2r, three great Sc#4 and three Sc#5. Districts include Lagos (fabulous 4 margin Sc#1 pair), Chihuahua, Acapulco, Campeche, Temascaltepec, Oaxaca. It has a selection of pitch black cancels, and lots of 4 margin stamps, Very Fine overall.

Mexico, 1856, ½r blue, Mexico. Large margins, tied by circular postmark on 1856 folded letter sheet to Puebla sent on December 17 with the rate doubling three days later, Extremely Fine; signed J. Bash.
