United States Collection, 1845-1982. Valuable mint and used in Scott Specialty hingeless album, later issues in National album, strong in mid-range material and nice high value stamps; a number of items have certs; note 9X1, used #1, Reproductions #3 (2) and 4 (cert), scattering of 1851's and 1857's, some better used grills, 1869's complete used, better mint and used Bank Notes, small BN's including 90c mint, Columbians complete mint (no $1 & 8¢) with some duplicates, Trans-Miss complete less $1, Pan-Am and La Purchase with duplicates, quite an attractive group of Wash-Franklins to $5 with many n.h., valuable coils, 1922's complete most n.h. including $2 & $5, nice Kansas-Nebraska, Prexies including 832b, and so on; lots of certs accompany; second volume includes Ducks complete mint with some duplicates, many n .h.; some nice Officials, Offices in China complete save $2, and other B-O-B; some Hawaii and a few Confederate items; overall this collection is generally F-VF, few small faults in the earlies, a close examination will be most rewarding.

In Scott National album, including #1 (2), 1857 issues including #39 (faults & pen cancel), nice 72 with light red cancel and other better 1861's, 1869's complete used, Banknote grills 30¢ & 90¢, good showing of later Banknotes mostly used; small Banknotes complete mint to 90¢; Columbians mint to $1, used $2-$4, apparently mint n.g. $5 with s.e.; Bureau's well represented including used 278, Trans-Miss mint to 10¢, used to $2; early commemoratives mint, Washington-Franklins mixed mint & used, #498f booklet pane of 30, #505 error, 1922 complete mint, Kansas-Nebraska complete mint, White Plains SS, Prexies & $5 Hamilton; very useful collection, some in mixed condition, much value to be found with careful viewing.

Mounted in Scott International; useful mixed condition classics including #1-2, 1851 types, 1861-67 issues including some grills, 1869 Pictorials values up to 30¢, Banknotes with some completion including mint, mostly mint Columbians to the 50¢, small bureaus mostly used to 50¢ & $1 values with unusual on piece items, 1902 definitives including 2¢ booklet pane, completion in early 20th century commemoratives including Louisiana complete, 2¢ Lincoln bluish, Wash-Frank issue with good completion including mint, imperfs & coils, completion in 4th bureaus with Kans-Nebr complete mint, later with section of Prexie plate number blocks with an array of different plate numbers ($1 x23, $2 x2 & $5), airmails missing #C13-C15 but including #C18 plate block, deliveries complete, few dues and other back-of-the-book issues including strong 1st issue perf'd revenues, mostly mint Ducks including early issues and strong run of later; condition varies with owner's approximate cat at $30,000+, worth evaluation.

1847-89 Lovely Used Accumulation. A very attractive group of used singles and multiples with emphasis on fancy & unusual cancellations, many better item present including three 5¢ 1847, two singles & one pair of 1¢ 1851, 3¢ 1851 includes singles & 5 strips of 3 & one strip of 4, 1861 Issue includes three 5¢ buff, six 30¢, 1869 Issue includes four 10¢, seven 12¢, three 15¢ and one 30¢, plus a nice array of Bank Notes, however much of the value lies in a wonderful display of fancy & color cancellations, mixed condition, a great lot the must be viewed to be fully appreciated.
