B(oston) Sh(ip). Ms pmk with "21 dwt. 16 gr." rate on 1742 fl sheet addressed to John Kinsey, Esq., Speaker of the House of Representatives in Philadelphia, Pa., "via Boston pr. Capt. Hall" route endorsement and inside docketing "From Ricd?d Partridge" who was the London agent of the Pennsylvania Assembly of Quakers and a close associate of Benjamin Franklin; some archival corner reinforcement on inside, Very Fine, a very scarce triple rate usage from Boston to Philadelphia.

Boston stampless. Nine folded letters date between 1793-1800, all with "Boston" straightline cancel, each has a Franklin or Bishop marking, couple of very light staining and a few have light file crease, mostly very fine, quite attractive (no photo).

Chicopee, Mass. Thimble postmark on small ladies cover franked with 1857 3¢ dull red (hidden defect) cancelled by fancy "Star of David" cancel (Skinner ST-6P 23), flap missing, Very Fine.
