Wonderful illustrated design showing the Fair Grounds on hand carried lemon cover, included is original matching illustrated letterhead of the Indiana State Board of Agriculture of the 1873 Exposition., cover with trivial aging & wear at right, Very Fine.

(Exhibition) Louisiana Expositions & Fairs. A fascinating lot of 19 covers with illustrated designs for various 19th century Louisiana fairs and Expositions, included are 1871 Fifth Grand State Fair of Louisiana, c. 1873 Southwestern Exposition, 1884 The World's Industrial and Cotton Centennial Expo. (8 covers, 7 different), 1885 The North, Central & South American Expo., 1888 Louisiana State Fair & Expo., 1892 Central Louisiana State Fair, 1899 Magnificent Carnival Celebration, 1899 Louisiana Industrial Expo. (2), three different 1915 World's Panama Expo. Logical Point covers (used to lobby to have the fair in New Orleans, mailed in 1910), two items are unused, mixed condition, a very scarce group.
