Manuscript postmark (Williams SAM-2360) on circa 1853 cover with manuscript "10" rate to Iowa, some wear, Fine, a very rare item from this Post Office which operated 1853-56 only, the forerunner of Redwood City, this cover almost certainly sent in the San Francisco County period before San Mateo County was created.
