Unusual grayish brown shade, right margin single, slightly cut in, tied by two strikes of red straight line "Paid" handstamp on cover with matching "Evansville, N.Y." cds below, two red Roman numeral "V" in circle handstamps have been crossed out, cover with 1849 enclosure, Fine, no covers recorded in the Alexander census from this town.
