1852, 3¢ dull red, type I + 1¢ blue, type IV, two singles. Tied by Boston "Paid" handstamps, "19" and French receiver on 1855 folded letter to Paris, France, per Cunard Steamer, "Boston Br. Pkt." date stamp on the reverse, horizontal file crease affecting the 3¢ stamp and a torn flap, Fine cover.

1852, 3¢ dull red, type I, horizontal pair. Tied by partial red "Cleveland, Te." cds and "N. York, Br. Pkt" cds on cover to Germany, via Liverpool, blue manuscript '45' due, cover prepaid the 5¢ British Open Mail rate which was apparently ignored; vertical fold at right and some age wear, F.-V.F.
