1873, 7¢ orange vermilion, horizontal strip of four. Well centered with deep color, trivial perf nick between first and second stamp, tied by target cancels with matching "Auburn N.Y., Aug 24" origin cds on 1876 cover to Moradabad, India, forwarded internally, red "New York, 110, Aug 25" exchange cds and reverse with various appropriate transits postmarks, Very Fine, a stunning & rare usage, ex Newbury.

1873, 10¢ brown + 12¢ blackish violet. Neatly tied on cover by geometric cancels on 1874 lemon cover to India from the "Bissell" correspondence with red "Boston" cds & red "London" transit, backstamped with arrival postmark, Very Fine and attractive.
