Attractive mint and used collection neatly mounted in 2 Lighthouse hingeless albums, good run in the classic period, mostly used some in mixed condition, with much duplication, from earlier 20th Century on quite nice with 2 or 3 of each both mint & used for the period; worth closer examination, generally F-VF except for the earliest mixed condition.

Over 750 stamps, arranged on pages, showing many dozens of towns with examples of various postmarks, including some covers, pairs or multiples; said to be the personal collection of former Berlin dealer Ressel; condition appears generally fine to very fine with most items seemingly chosen for clear postmarks, strength in the earliest issues; should be inspected by the specialist.

Fascinating well-annotated study of the issues during the "War of the Pacific" between Peru and Chile and Bolivia, over 150 stamps, with examples of normal, inverted and double overprints, the various UPU Lima, triangle and horseshoe overprints applied to regular issues and postage dues, combinations of same, Sunburst and Bermudez examples, various reprints, etc; Occupation issues also well represented including some Chilean stamps; and Provisional issues of various cities of Peru during the Chilean Occupation of Lima and Callao; condition appears generally fine to very fine, some scarce or rare items well worth close examination by the specialist for proper evaluation.
