1861, 10¢ yellow green, vertical pair and single + 2¢ black. Tied together by blurry Pennsylvania postmarks on cover to Germany, the stamps have minor imperfections, with red New York and blue French transit markings; slight cover wear, F.-V.F.

1861, 12¢ black + 10¢ green. Two of each, two with s.e., tied by quartered cork cancels on 1865 cover to Peru, red "Boston, Mass." cds, "24" handstamp and Panama transit mark, cover edge wear and is slightly reduced at the top, Fine appearance.

1861, 24¢ brown lilac, horiz pair and single + 3¢ rose, horiz pair + 12¢ black, two singles. Grid canceled on 1862 double rate folded letter to Shanghai, China, red "N. York Am. Pkt., Paid, Jul 12" exchange and red "London, Paid, Jul 25" transit cds's, reverse with red "Forwarded By, Weston & Gray, New York" oval handstamp and "Hong Kong, Sp 3, 62" cds; horiz file fold creasing one 12¢ stamp with additional stamp removed at lower right, F.-V.F. appearance, still a rare usage to China; with 1887 P.F. certificate.

1863, 2¢ black + 3¢ rose. Pair of each, Blackjacks with wrinkle & one 3¢ with corner defect, tied by blue Canadian target cancels on 1865 cover to Montreal, Canada, it appears as if this was mailed in transit as there are no United States markings and was cancelled upon arrival, manuscript notation "Due 20", Very Fine and attractive, most unusual.
