Neat manuscript postmark on adversity cover (made from ruled lettersheet, missing bottom flap) franked with vertical pair 1862 5¢ blue (slightly in at left) tied by neat manuscript "Paid" cancel, addressed to the Register of the State of Florida in Tallahassee, Very Fine, a scarce town marking, the only P.O. town not in the postal guides before or after the war and therefore no handstamp postmark device.
