In combination with 1862, 3kr rose + 1kr yellow, two singles, all stamps show "Zwergen-Schnitt" (dwarf cut) which was purposely done to facilitate the placement of multiple adhesives, tied by "145" numeral cog cancels on cover to New York City, matching Furth origin tombstone date stamp, red "Aachen, 24/4, Paid 23 cut to shape" transit cds and blue manuscript "35" seamail rate; light cover edge wear, F.-V.F., an attractive 3-color franking.
