Large margins, cancelled by bold strike of large size 7 bar grid cancel on Adversity cover made from unused "Oxford Classical" School Report with bold "Oxford, N.C./Mar. 15" (1862) cds with military address to Manassas Junction, Va., Extremely Fine and attractive, a lovely cover.

Four margins & pen cancelled on inside of turned cover with manuscript "Fair Play, S.C./Jun. 11" postmark, addressed to Pickens C.H., S.C., outside franked with 1862 5¢ blue, De La Rue tied by "Manchester, Va./May 23, 1862" cds & sent to Fair Play, some minor cover wear, Very Fine.

Confederacy, 1862, 5¢ blue + 5¢ blue, London Print. Tied together by Orangeburg, S.C./Nov. 12 (1862) double circle postmark on Adversity cover made from Patent Circular to Columbia, S.C., a small portion of reverse torn away, one 5¢ creased, Very Fine, a scarce combination on this Adversity usage.
