Confederacy, Homemade Covers. Three, stampless hand delivered on printed tax form, "per sterling" (slave), "Lynchburg, Va. Paid 5" handstamp on line paper, and #11 tied by "Scottsville, Va." cds on adversity cover made from ruled ledger sheet (reduced at the left), slight wear, Fine appearance.

Confederacy, Turned covers. Balance lot of 10 includes one cover use three times, one with "by boat" on the inside, and one "by Hack" (a slave), includes one hand delivered, there are some usual flaws, Fine overall, interesting group.
