1881, Lake Tahoe Stage Line Pass. Lilac colored card 2¼" x 3½", signed by J.M. Benton, Proprietor, neatly placed in 2-sided frame with reverse side showing "Conditions", trivial aging.

1881, Tahoe Tattler First Issue. Nicely framed issue of July 9, 1881, Vol.1, No.1, viewable front and back, with introduction, "It is with pleasure that we present the first copy of the Tahoe Tattler to our friends of the lake…We will struggle onward.", editorial content and interesting advertising, measures 9.5"x 6.5", minor edge wear visible in one corner.

1912, Southern Pacific RR Ticket Tahoe City. San Francisco-Tahoe City & Return, "Special Excursion Ticket" for "Teutonia Singing Society", with coupons for each leg appropriately punched, nicely framed, ticket measures approximately 3"x 11.5", seemingly excellent condition.

1913-18, Virginia & Truckee Railway. 3 passes, neatly framed together, first is 1918 example, 2nd is strip of 3 "Tahoe Special" legs with first being "Via Benton's Line" Glenbrook and Carson; third item is 1913 "Lake Tahoe Railway & Transportation Company" pass; all appear in excellent condition (no photo).

California State Telegraph. 3 covers, c.1865, showing different versions of the company telegraph envelope, all addressed including one to Roseburg, Oregon, one with repair to backflap 7 with contents, and one with back partially missing, almost Very Fine appearance.

Carson & Tahoe Lumber & Fluming Company. 1874 stock certificate, elaborately illustrated including view of river valley & bridge, company location Ormsby Co. Nevada, signed by the legendary D.L. Bliss as president, excellent condition with tab intact, 6¼" x 14¼" in attractive frame.
Estimate    $150 - 200.

This company harvested 750 million board feet of timber out of Tahoe basin by 1900.
