Faulty, tied by blue "Richmond, Va./Jun. 4, 1862" cds (Powell type 3b, but unlisted in blue) on Captured Union Patriotic Cover showing Female, Cannon & Flag design in red, white & blue, addressed to Christiansburg, Va., some cover aging & bottom right corner replaced, Fine, a rare usage of this postmark in blue which was used only on June 3-4, 1862.

Four even margins, tied by blue "Dublin, Va./Jun. 24" (1862) cds on patriotic cover show 11 Star Flag design (Dietz type F11-16) with verse & "J.W. Randolph, Richmond, Va." imprint, slightly reduced at left, just clear of design, Extremely Fine and a very scarce single 5¢ usage on a patriotic cover.

Confederacy, Jefferson Davis Medallion. Patriotic design in blackish purple (Dietz JD-1) on oversized yellow cover to Tennessee Governor I.G. Harris in Nashville, mostly clear strike of red "Adams Express Co., Memphis, Tenn., Jun 20" oval date stamp; cover refolded at right and light stain spots at left, Fine, an extremely rare express usage cover and patriotic usages, this is one of the rarest of Adams Express Co. handstamps and quite certainly is unique on a patriotic cover.
Estimate    $1,500 - 2,000.

Patriotic design with slogan and verse (Dietz SM-1/Verse 21/Slogan 38) on locally addressed cover, with bold "Richmond, Va., May 9, 1862" cds (Powell type 3a) and scarce matching "Paid 2" straight line handstamp; trivial scuff at upper left affecting design, still Extremely Fine, a lovely patriotic and drop rate combination, ex-Oswald.
