Arizona & New Mexico Express Co. Black company frank on 3¢ green entire to San Francisco, Very Fine.
Estimate    $200 - 300.

This express was launched by Henry Wells in 1874, providing stagecoach service to and from points in Arizona and the eastern terminus of the Southern Pacific Railroad, by 1876 the express folded, having lost its usefulness as the railroad pushed further east.

Black company frank on 2¢ red entire to "Mineral Park, Arizona T." with manuscript endorsement "Via Needles & Kingman", postmarked "Kingman, Ariz./Oct. 24, 1883" three ring postmark & grid, slightly reduced at top with small tear, Very Fine and scarce, the postmaster at Kingman was also the Wells, Fargo & Co. agent where this entered the U.S. mail.

Double circle postmark on 2¢ red entire paste-up from San Francisco with Wells, Fargo & Co. oval handstamp & company frank, cover on reverse addressed to Mineral Park, A.T. & endorsed "Via Needles & Kingman", Very Fine, a scarce usage during the 1st year of usage of the Railroad from Needles to Arizona.
