Manuscript postmark (NEV-230) with "Paid 3" rate, on 1851 folded letter to San Francisco, contents mentions visit to San Francisco…but on my arrival at Sacramento City, I learned that San Francisco was in ashes, Very Fine, one of the earliest Centreville postmarks.
