Blue cds on buff cover with manuscript "15" rate to Canada, endorsed at left "Dry Creek Dec. 25/'53" & handstamped with three strikes of "Ud States" in arc exchange handstamp in blue, trivial corner wear, Very Fine, a nice usage to Canada, Dry Creek did not open a Post Office until 1854.

Red integral rate cds (YUB-910) on 1855 folded letter to Canada missent to Pictou, Nova Scotia instead of Picton, Canada West, endorsed "Missent to" with Pictou postmark alongside, cover with toning in top left corner & small tear at bottom, otherwise Very Fine, an early usage of this scarce integral rate postmark.
