Brigg's Despatch 2. Negative circular handstamp in red, unusually clear strike on 1848 folded circular printed in red of "The Pennsylvania Railroad Company" to a local street address, small portion of outer sheet torn off at bottom right, Extremely Fine, a very scarce marking in red.

Bronson & Forbes' City Express Post, 1855, black on green. Margins slightly in, slightly overlapping 1857, 3¢ rose and both tied by "Chicago, Ill., Aug 25, 1857" cds on fresh corner card cover to Belvidere, Ill., Very Fine, a unique usage in combination with a 1857, 3¢ rose and one of only two known intact covers with the Bronson & Forbes' stamp tied by a postmark, ex Brown; with 2009 P.F. certificate.

City Post, Paid" circular handstamp on cover to Newport, Ky., in combination with 1851, 3¢ dull red tied by blue "Cincinnati, O., May 26" cds; light cover wear and slight soiling, Fine, ex Brown.
