Postal Reply Card, 1920, 1¢ on 2¢ Single Card Dies on Severed Message/Reply Cards. Two cards with Cleveland dies on a Message and a Reply cards & two cards with New York dies on a Message and a Reply cards, Very Fine, rarely offered, particularly the New York cards (UPSS S48-2, S49-2; S48-7, S49-7, $500+).
Estimate    $200 - 300.

The special dies for revaluing paid reply cards were not delivered to postmasters until sometime after the single card dies had been distributed. In the interim, a few postmasters had proceeded to revalue paid reply cards by severing the message and reply halves and surcharging the severed halves as single cards, using single card dies.
