Venezuela Reference Collection. Approximately 170 items mounted on album pages; 1859 issue starting with a 1859 folded letter from La Victoria to Caracas with a complete set of first issues tied together by "8" numeral handstamps which is signed on reverse by Nicholas Sanabria as genuine and a 1967 RPS certificate stating a fake usage, genuine 1859-62 issues followed by the various forgeries including cancels types and a set of Spiro sheets, 1862-65 Arms and Eagle issues with a few genuine with forgery types including multiple and sheets, 1867-77 Arms issues with a few genuine including better, selection of forgeries including several hand drawn, a 1866 ½r rose so-called postal forgery on cover (Wickersham 6th setting, with Holcombe cert.) and multiples of another ½r postal forgery, set of Spiro sheet, some later Bolivar issues.
Estimate    $500 - 750.
